S1:E1 Welcome to the Return to Her Podcast: Returning to Your Authentic Self

Welcome to the return to her podcast. I'm Cassie Dalton, yoga teacher, energy worker, and wellness coach. I'm here to help you come back home to your authentic self so you can live your most fulfilling soul inspired life. In this podcast, we'll explore practices from ancient wisdom traditions and insights from modern health and wellness science so that you can reconnect with yourself, body, mind, and spirit.

We'll also hear from guests who are on their own spiritual journeys, and they'll share with us the lessons they've learned and the wisdom they've gained along the way. So if you feel like you've been gone from yourself for too long, now's the time to return to her.

Welcome to the very first episode of Return to Her. I'm your host, Cassie Dalton. I am excited and honored that you chose to spend your time with me today as we step into this journey of reconnecting to something deep within. If you're listening to this podcast, you're probably feeling what I did many years ago, an urgency, a pull to go deeper in your connection with yourself, to discover your purpose.

To finally start to listen to that inner wisdom that has always been there. To remember who you really are, who you came here to be, and to take the steps to return to her now. That's what this podcast is all about, for helping women like you finally come home to yourself and rediscover that sacred, intuitive, and powerful force that's already within you.

I'm here as a guide of sorts, as you awaken to your true nature and tap into that divine energy that flows through you and all things. So this is about returning to the essence of who you are at your core  using knowledge and tools  both from modern health and wellness science, as well as spiritual wisdom traditions, and the insights that I have gained personally, as I've moved through my own journey back to whole being, as I call it.

Even though we will invariably come from different backgrounds, different experiences, opinions, and belief systems, we are all here for the same reason, to realign with our most authentic self by taking care of the needs of the body, but knowing that we are not the body. By developing the mind so that it helps us on our path to higher consciousness rather than blocking our way.

And by recognizing and coming home to our spiritual heart, where the soul resides, nurturing it so it can truly guide us on our way to becoming the woman that we know we can be. The woman who is rooted in strength, wisdom, and an inner knowing that leads with grace, love, and confidence. The one who remembers her own sacred power and doesn't wait for anyone to give her permission to live life on her terms .

The one who knows how to access her own inner light and bravely shines that light out into the darkness to help others find their way to one who no longer gives into the fear and the limitations of the ego or needs validation from the world outside herself. But answers to the higher self. and leans on her connection to the divine.

The woman who knows that she is the living embodiment of Shakti, the divine feminine energy. But let me take a step back. I want to introduce myself to those of you who aren't already students or clients of mine. Like I said before, my name is Cassie Dalton. I am an experienced yoga teacher, a certified Reiki master and energy worker, and a dual certificate holder in both health and life coaching.

But more than any title that I could give myself, I'm a woman who, like you, is on a journey of remembering who she is. And why she is here as my spiritual teacher often says, the most important questions you can ask in life are, who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? And what am I to do while I'm here?

So I'm aiming to answer these questions for myself through my movement, meditation, energy healing, and self care practices. And a big part of my assignment, aside from connecting with and living in alignment with the divine, is to be a teacher or a guide to help others do the same. And that's why I keep showing up day after day.

That's why I started this podcast to help anyone who has ears to hear. Remember the divine essence that lives within them to remember that we are already whole and we already have everything we need. We just need to remember how to access it and  to help them discover ways to do that.

Ways that work for them personally, because we're all so unique.  My own journey of reconnecting to or returning to my version of “her” started several years ago around the time of having my children, especially my daughter, my second child.

But it took many years of me ignoring my body, mind and spirits cues before I finally hit a breaking point that ultimately led me to where I am now.  I was juggling a lot with an energy depleting career that I knew wasn't really right for me and two young children, 21 months apart in age, I was fried, mentally overstimulated, exhausted, highly anxious, even saying this now, I'm starting to feel some of that anxiety again. you should see my body language as I'm tightening up, so I need to relax for a moment. Just remembering what I went through. My physical health was getting worse. Every single month it felt like some new challenge was popping up. And I knew for years. that I needed to change but I was too scared for a long time to do what I knew I needed to do.

So when I was finally brave enough to step off of that path, I was able to step onto this new path that I'm on now and I'm so thankful. Next week I will be sharing a little bit more in my origin story, as I call it, of how I left my career and started this new path toward deeper connection and healing.

Uh, but just to say for now, through these different modalities, yoga, meditation, energy work, coaching, I have learned a lot. How to connect with my body. How to calm my mind and regulate my nervous system when it gets overstimulated or stuck on overdrive Which it still does because I am still living in this world.

I am still a parent and uh, I still have to deal with the things that humans have to deal with

I've also learned how to recognize when my energy system is off, my chakras are imbalanced, and how to help support myself when that happens.

As well as techniques for increasing my life force in general. Through the coaching trainings that I've done over the years, I've learned how to change my habits, shift my mindset. and put myself on a trajectory of whole being wellness.  And I'm so thankful for every single step and misstep in my life up to this point, because it's all led me to this place where I can use everything that I've learned to help other women as well. . It's almost like I've made it up the mountain a little way. And even though I'm still climbing myself, I'm at a point where I am strong enough and stable enough to turn around and help lift others up as well. And That's a really cool thing to think about when I say it out loud.

So anyway, throughout my healing journey, there has always been this deep inner knowing that something was pulling me to each next step. And that spark of sacred energy or that deeper sense of awareness that I can't quite name or put words to, uh, when I started to truly listen to that and trust it, which was only able to happen once I started honoring the needs of my body, mind, and heart, by the way.

I began to feel more aligned with who I truly was and who my soul was asking me to be. Everything shifted. I began to understand what it meant to embrace my authentic self and to really embody my Shakti, that powerful creative life force that I am. flows through all of us and that we can all tap into.

This podcast is My invitation for you to do that as well, , whether you are new to the health and wellness scene, or you've taken some deep dives like I have. Whether you're starting to feel that pull of the higher self to step onto the spiritual path or you've been marching along on it for decades, whatever your background is, this podcast is a safe space for you to reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost in the busyness of life.

It is about helping you reconnect with your body, your mind, and your spirit. Realign with your inner wisdom. And tap into that powerful,  divine feminine energy within you that is intuitive, wise, nurturing, and creative, but also fiercely strong, resilient, and powerful.

We get so caught up in the demands of life, the expectations from others, both from within our family and communities and society at large, and pulled down by our own doubts and fears. We forget to listen to our inner voice. We forget how to connect with our own divine source. We forget who we are and why we came here and that's why I'm here now To remind you that you are already whole and that you have everything you need within you to create the life that you want Each week in this podcast, we'll dive into a mix of practical tools, spiritual insights, and actionable steps that will help you reconnect with your soul, your intuition, your purpose.

You'll hear everything from simple yoga practices to energy work, mindfulness techniques, health and wellness research, And ancient rituals that can help you cultivate well being on all levels and bring you back into alignment with your authentic self, your her,  the her who has always been with you.

witnessing your journey and patiently waiting for your return.
